How to make an Instagram grid
- Upload your image (landscape or square works best).
- Choose a layout — 3×1 (row), 3×2 (6 tiles), or 3×3 (9 tiles).
- Download the tiles. They’re numbered in posting order.
- Post them one by one in that order so the grid lines up on your profile.
Tips for a seamless grid
- Use a high-resolution image — each tile is cropped to a square.
- Post all tiles back-to-back so nothing breaks the layout.
- Plan future posts so a single non-grid post doesn’t split it.
